The Overview

As the lead for internal digital transformation, I orchestrated a company-wide AI empowerment initiative to solve a critical manpower crisis. Facing an overwhelming demand for localized content across different countries, I curated specialized AI tools (like Kapwing for video localization), built a user-friendly WhatsApp AI assistant, and personally trained our marketing teams. This strategic shift not only empowered our non-technical staff but also drastically reduced our digital content production time from days to mere hours.

The Challenge: Drowning in Content Creation

Our cross-regional marketing teams were facing a severe manpower shortage. Every day, they needed to generate localized health blogs, social media posts, and videos for different countries. Creating, translating, and designing all this digital content manually was simply taking too much time, and the team was completely overwhelmed.

The Solution: Curating Tools & Teaching the Team

Instead of just handing them generic software, I researched and implemented specific AI tools to solve their exact bottlenecks. For instance, I introduced Kapwing AI to automatically translate and dub video content into multiple languages instantly.

More importantly, I became the internal "AI Teacher." I conducted training sessions to teach my colleagues the right procedures for using LLMs like Gemini and Doubao, empowering them to generate high-quality copywriting effortlessly.

The Solution: Building the WhatsApp AI MVP

To make AI even more accessible and user-friendly for non-technical staff, I led an AI MVP project. We integrated a custom internal LLM directly into a corporate WhatsApp channel. This allowed the marketing team to generate ideas, ask questions, and draft content on the go, just by texting in a familiar app.

The Outcome: From Days to Hours

By teaching the team to embrace AI and building the right internal tools, we completely transformed how we work. We slashed the time needed to create a localized social media post from 2-3 days down to just 1-2 hours. We solved the manpower crisis, enabling the team to work smarter, not harder, while easily scaling our digital content across all regions.

What I'd Do Differently

Centralized Prompt Library from Day 1: I would have established a standardized, company-wide "Prompt Library" much earlier. Initially, colleagues struggled with inconsistent AI outputs; providing a structured repository of pre-tested prompts would have accelerated the onboarding process and ensured stricter brand voice consistency.

What I Learned

Change Management is harder than technical implementation: Building the Lark automation and WhatsApp MVP was only 20% of the battle. The real challenge—and the most rewarding part—was shifting the team's mindset from fearing AI to embracing it as a co-pilot.

Curation over Creation: The future of digital content isn't about writing from scratch; it's about curation. By providing colleagues with AI-generated options to choose from, we lowered the barrier to entry and dramatically sped up decision-making.
